Wet & Windy Wales

First, may I thank all those who have sent emails, commented through various internet areas and phoned the office offering their condolences following the loss of Terry. I'm sure he would be delighted to know so many people cared for him. His foster mom, who had really fallen for Terry, has been to see us today and it looks like she'll be offering a home to another one of our residents very soon.

So - Wet & Windy Wales then? That was what I found yesterday on a trip to collect 9 dogs. It was a 30 mpg gale force wind and it was as if someone was standing there aiming a hosepipe at me!! I won't tell you the sympathy (none) I got from certain office staff when I rang to say I was on my way back but was looking forward to driving back in a state of rising damp!!

Anyway they all made it back safely and I'd just about dried out when I got back to the centre - I love my "job"

A big thank you to all those who have signed up for a our new email newsletter. The first one has already gone out but we've improved already by moving to a much better and more versatile programme. I can't wait to send the next issue out - I'm sure you'll like it. If you haven't signed up yet follow this link to join the mailing list.

We start the Crufts week on Tuesday loading the van, set up the stand on Wednesday and look forward to seeing you between Thursday and Sunday.

Bye for now

Ben
