350 days to Christmas

Yep - not long left so get that shopping done, what a thought eh?

After the quiet December it's very much business as usual. The phone has been red hot today and yes unfortunately there's been a lot of people needing help rehoming. As a result 10 dogs are coming in on Friday - all from one place. Although the owner is on a small holding in a rural area it would seem his neighbours aren't quite the collie lover he is. After complaints to the council about noise from barking he's already had one expensive visit to court and is set for another if he doesn't do something quick. Hence out assistance being needed.

In addition 2 are coming from their own homes on Saturday and 1 from another rescue.

I thought everyone would have "shopped out" but our mail order started again no sooner than Christmas was over. I know I keep saying it - but - your support is really appreciated in this way.

The next issue of Border Collie World is now being prepared, we did almost have a minor crisis in the office when Bev's computer decided to die this morning, and it's certainly terminal. Good job she'd backed everything up yesterday or we would have been very unhappy !! So that's another job for the IT Dept (me)

Bye for now

Ben
