Quieter yet busier

I know the title sounds a contradiction but it's quite true. As usual this time of year homing becomes a bit quieter, but in the office we're very busy with all the mail orders coming in. Once again we're delighted with all your support and the orders you make really do help us make such a difference to the lives of so many collies.

Last year was our first with "online shopping" and whilst it's difficult to compare just yet it does look like this year is going to be just as good, as fast as Tracey or Bev pack the orders there's new one coming by internet, post or phone.

Some other good news concerns one of our Sponsor dogs - Terry. Many will know of Terry who has been with us for quite a number of years due to his terrible manners where any moving vehicle, and other dogs are concerned. Well it looks like he's found a foster home. It's early days yet but we hope he's mellowed enough to be able to enjoy the pleasure of a home in the autumn of his life. He will still be a sponsor dog, so those who do sponser him will no doubt look forward to hearing of all his new adventures!!

The Boarding kennels have reopened after the new floor and other work has been done. I'm delighted to report that we will be having the kennels tiled which will improve them even more and this work will begin soon, the kennels will remain open while this work is being done.

Bye for now

Ben
