Terry in the wars

Those of you in the Sponsor A Dog scheme may well know Terry who has been one of our sponsor dogs for quite a while now. Unfortunately he was at the vets on Monday after being bitten by another dog.

It seems some volunteers were walking Terry and another volunteer had Twig who is not good with other dogs. We're not sure exactly what happened but it seems the clip on the end of Twigs lead bent allowing it to come free from his collar - and he was quick to make a bee-line for Terry.

Whilst the fracas was over very quickly Terry came off worse with a nasty gash to his face needing stitches. I'm glad to say that it hasn't affected him, even whilst waiting to see the vet he could see cars driving past and was making sure everyone knew he wanted to chase them!

2 days later and he's his normal bright self but I think he might look like an Action Man collie with a very distinctive scar on his face

Work in the Boarding kennels is coming on very well and I'm managing to get  a weekend in Whitby this week to recharge the batteries for even more painting etc that will need doing once they've finished !

Bye for now

Ben
