Well that was a busy day - 5 dogs homed, 2 reserved and 2 admitted. We were also delighted to receive a vist from Selena, Alistair and other members of Fox Agility who earlier this year had done a sponsored walk in aid of Leicester Animal Aid and ourselves, raising £900, which has been shared between the 2 rescues. We are very grateful to everyone at Fox Agility for their support in this way. It was also great to see Faze who Alistair and Selena had adopted from us in 2005. Faze had come to us as a 4 month old collie and was rehomed on 2 occasions but returned within days due to his behaviour.
One of the owners suggested that he was an aggressive dog who should be put to sleep but we were convinced he was just a very typical collie and needed the right motivation. Fortunately for him along came Alistair and Selena who, through their agility club, have turned him into a lovely dog - full of energy but very friendly and doing really well in agility. Thanks again to them and everyone at Fox Agility. For more information on Fox Agility visit www.foxagility.me.uk
We've started doing some painting in the boarding kennels before the floor is done - once this block is done I hope never to see another breeze block that needs painting for quite a while
Bye for now
