Benches

A big thank you and a special  to those who have kindly sponsored a bench. 2 are now in place on the main lawn. I've 2 more to build, stain and put in place (also on the lawn) and 2 more benches have been sponsored this week. They will probably be used in the paddock where there has never been anywhere for visitors to sit and relax. So again a big thank you - this sponsor scheme will be left running so if at anytme you would like to mark a special event or remember someone special please consider sponsoring a bench.

Work on the new septic tank is now finished and hopefully this one will last us a lot longer!! It will take a bit of work to recover the grass between the kennels and the paddock but I'm sure next year will see an improvement on the bare patches we've got at present.

I'm trying to keep on top of all the maintenance issues at the moment as my wife and I will be off on holiday in mid September and it'll be here before you know it. 2 weeks motorcycling in France and Spain will certainly be a bit different from my normal routine!!

In the kennels it's very much business as normal. We are finding new homes on a regular basis and helping as many dogs as we can find good homes.

Bye for now

Ben
