Regular visitors to the site and the blog will be aware of the Events and Fundraising Volunteer post we have been advertising. I'm pleased to say that we've had a very good response and now have 5 people who have shown a lot of interest in the role. It's even better that they are well spread out geographically and will hopefully help raise our profile in many different areas. There's still the opportunity to become involved and anyone interested in discussing what's involved is invited to contact us.

Homing we very quiet this weekend, but as it was reported that it was going to be one of the biggest weekends of the year with people setting off on holiday I suppose that's not surprising. Having said that the phone has been busy today with people ringing about coming to visit us with a view to rehoming over the next few weeks.

Work on the new septic tank has started and it's surprising how technical it is working out the drainage to get the maximum benefit from it. Only problem is much of the grass area between the kennels and the paddock has been affected but I'm sure it'll soon "bounce " back.
