You can always tell when the magazine has gone out - a few days later our postman walks with a stoop!! Yes mail orders are certainly pouring in through the post and definately via the website. Thank you so much for your support, we really do appreciate it.

Just before I started writing todays entry I took a peek at the statistics for the dairy and I'm quite honoured that about 50 people a day are taking the trouble to see if I've written anything different and find out what's been happening at the centre. I did wonder when I started this idea if anybody would be at all interested but it seems you are - so again thank you.

Homing has still be very busy - yesterday we homed 5 dogs - on a Tuesday!! In the afternoon it seemed like a weekend with people and dogs everywhere and although it's half term there wasn't a child to be seen anywhere.

If you've been on the website you'll have noticed news of our latest fundraising idea. Quite simply if you have an old mobile phone/s you no longer need or want we can receive £3 for it. Full details are on the website, you can drop them into the centre or ask us for a pre-paid envelope and card whcih you send with the phone to the company who run this scheme. All the phones are recycled or parts reused so its helping the environment at the same time. You could perhaps collect phones from family or friends. Email us or phone the office for more information or to ask for a label (or labels!!).
