Magazine is on its way

The Summer issue of Border Collie World was delivered to us today and obviously its impending arrival has made all the difference to the weather over the last few days!!

We've been busy filling envelopes this afternoon and so you should be receiving your copy within the next few days - and apart from the usual letters, stories etc we are even sending you a free gift to celebrate the 50th issue of the magazine.

The kennels are full to the rafters at the moment and unfortunately several dogs are in quarantine after one of 9 who came in together ended up in the Vets. So far none of the others have shown any symptoms but we're pleased that we were able to identify the problem very early thanks to our in house test kits. The dog is doing well at the Vets and as long as this continues he should be back with us in a couple of days.

July has been busy for rehoming and the last couple of days have seemed like a weekend with plenty of visitors. It's good job really as we've been receiving endless calls for help from individual owners and other rescues, at the moment we have at least 12 urgent calls for help waiting for space, apart from all the everyday calls.

Well hope you enjoy your magazine - if so don't forget to tell a friend

Ben
